Hey guys, quick Journal to let you know that my house made, it as did my parents. We were incredibly lucky, and fortunately my little subdivision (Oak Valley Ranch) didn't suffer any losses. That being said, the area just to the South of us (Mountain Shadows) suffered massive losses with a reported 346 structures burned. My parent's house was one house down from a line of homes that burned on their street. The houses that burned on their street included homes of friends I have known literally all my life.
We got insanely lucky that the fire did not reach our community. There is a old Quarry on the Mountain Side that blocked the fire movement into our area, fortunately. It looks like we're going to be okay. Can't wait to go back home.
Thanks for the support guys.
...not looking forward to all the smoke damage...

Somewhere in a Basement.
So, it's been a while since I posted anything up on my Devart account. Surprisingly, my absence has not been the result of inactivity. In fact, I have been stupid busy with creative endeavors, just not ones that are able to be displayed effectively of DeviantArt.
Mostly I have been busy working on stuff for my local band: Better Than Tim. We just recently released our first single and accompanying music video. Likes, Favorites, Subscribes and Shares would all be massively appreciated as per usual internet attention groveling.
In addition I have been putting time into the YouTube Channel, although it has mostly been behind the scenes stuff.
Distracted
Yeah, I'm distracted.

Part of the problem has been my inability to stay focused between my artwork, my band and my YouTube channel. Speaking of the band, we will be playing a shows on Jan 10th and 11th. Going to be the first time playing live in well over a year. I am simultaneously scared and really excited. We're not getting paid, mind, but a show is a show. I'm just glad to be out and playing in public again; I was getting really tired of blowing out my ear drums in the basement for nothing. If I haven't already forced you to listen to our noise, you can check us out here:

So now that 2013 is winding down to a close I think it's time to look inward once more and talk about the serious stuff, like my digestive system! Serious stuff indeed.
I still dislike the holiday season; it's entirely too stressful for what it's worth. It's even harder this year given that I don't have any money for presents or festivities. Makes me feel like a freeloader. The latter part of the year has made me feel like a freeloader actually. Since I devoted myself full time to my current YouTube project I have not earned any real income. My fiancé, Alorra, has been super supportive, but I am
Woah. Snow? In Winter???
We got our first real snow storm here a couple of days ago. Subsequently both my roommate and a close friend managed to wreck their cars. Both, I should add, are Colorado natives. I hypothesize that because it took so long for the snow to happen this year, they had a lot of inclement weather driving mistakes to catch up on.
Still working on the YouTube Channel by the way. I will probabally post some of the assets I had to draw for some of the various episodes. Since me and ~Dilrd (https://www.deviantart.com/dilrd) draw a new One AM SHOW just about every week, it leaves me kind of zapped artistically sometimes. After you spend 40 hours sudo-animating something with your W
