So after neglecting to do any real art for a month or so I decided to buckle down and get something done for once. I spent a lot longer than I intended to on this. This is the first time I have actually put any real time or effort into a background. How did it turn out? Ehh, you decide.

This is just a little gift art for my good friend :iconspiritkitsune-dr: featuring his OC Tom racing yours truly! Just a friendly race down the mountain pass, right? Who is winning? Well unfortunately, not me.
Of course, the race isn't over yet.
Cars featured are:
Izzy my 02' Impreza WRX Hatchback (my real life daily driver)
and Eleanor Tom's legendary 67' Shelby GT500.

Not if you block my driving line with that bloody drift again. WRX is getting outpaced.

Yeah, but Nitrous on those hairpins? You better hope you can keep her from flying into the canyon.

That reminds me. If I ever put a boost controller on the Subi, I wanted to go with a two stage controller and label the button that switched between the two boost settings "GO BABY GO". I think it would be a fitting tribute.

Personally I have never been too big of a Phil Collins fan. That being said it is a pretty good song.
